Well, we're coming to a time of the year that I absolutely love and hate at the same time. It's only fair that when it's cold outside you can get outside and shoot something decent - seems like a logical trade-off, no? Well, we are now entering the bitter fall and its cruel mistress is the death of photography for an entire month. We've passed the point of the trees turning yellow and have witnessed their fading into nothingness. The bums are tucked away at the local library and I am left alone in my cellar room, coddling my camera so it doesn't turn against me and slit my throat with broken lens remains in my sleep. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. Ever since I got into shooting, I've had an affinity for macro photography. Bugs, bees, little tiny trees. I didn't care. I wanted to see and shoot it all. Only just now have I gotten my hands on a true blue macro lens for my 30D! Not a moment too soon, either, as I've been pretty lazy these past few weeks.
